(KMJ) – Nearly 3,500 fill the streets of downtown Fresno Sunday afternoon for a peaceful protest over the death of George Floyd.
Organizers of the Black Lives Matter rally stated from the outset, and reinforced throughout the duration of the gathering, that everyone was encouraged to remain peaceful. And there were no reported incidents of violence from the demonstration.
After the gathering, Fresno Police Chief Andy Hall posted the following response on his Department’s social media pages.
