(KMJ) – Police in the city of Merced continue to search for a couple who reportedly allowed their dogs to maul a cat to death.
A witness shot video of Tuesday’s incident at Foothill Drive and G Street. Officers say it shows the dogs off their leash (pictured above) and the owners making no attempt to stop the attack (pictured below). But, when officers arrived to the scene, the dogs and their owners were nowhere to be found.
Now Merced Police ask anyone who can identify the couple involved, or anyone with any information on their location, to contact the Merced Police Department Tipster Line at: (209) 385-4725.
