Search Continues for Armed Fresno County Carjacking Suspect

(KMJ) – The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for a brazen suspect who reportedly carjacked man in his front yard late last week.

Deputies say the suspect (pictured above) was armed when he came up to the owner of a 2007 which Chevrolet Silverado crew cab (pictured below) around 7:45 a.m. March 27th on the 4800 block of North Harrison Avenue near Fig Garden Village.  The suspect took the victim’s cell phone and then drove off (toward Shaw Avenue) in the truck.

According to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office:

A video camera captured an image of the suspect who appears to be Hispanic, 5’7’ – 5’9”, with a thin build. The victim said the suspect spoke with a slight accent. He was wearing a two-tone black and gray jacket with dark blue pants,
black shoes with white souls and an N-95 respirator mask.

The stolen pickup truck has a CA License plate #8G31727 and the rear driver side window has a sticker that reads “Firecracker Softball League”.
