Wind Knocks Out Power to 44,000 PG&E Customers

NORTH FORK, CA (KMJ) – PG&E says wind is responsible for knocking out power to 44,000 customers on Monday.

The Yosemite Division area extends from the Madera County Line to north of Modesto, and west to Interstate 5.

As of 9:30 a.m., there are still 107 customers without power in the Oakhurst area, 451 in Bass Lake, and 397 in North Fork.

PG&E expected to restore service to the majority of its customers by 5:00 p.m. Monday.
