HURON,CA(KMJ)- Homicide detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office say they are looking for who is responsible for the shooting of 27 year old Javier Merino Perez of Huron.
Perez died in the hospital Thursday evening.
The deadly shooting took place 11 pm on Sunday, at the Encino Motel.
Officers say they found Javier Perez under a carport who had suffered a gunshot wound.
Perez was taken to the hospital.
Perez remained in critical condition until passing away four days later.
This marks the second homicide of the year in the city of Huron.
As of now a suspect has not been identified.
Detectives are asking community members to contact our office if they have any information to help with the investigation.
