According to California Citrus Mutual, that organization along with the California Citrus Research Foundation and the Citrus Research Board will mark the completion of a Biosafety Level-3 Laboratory for HLB Research in Riverside on Thursday morning.
This event is in partnership with UC Riverside.
California Citrus Mutual posted on its website that the day will start at 10:00 am with a press conference and ribbon cutting.
The HLB disease is a fatal citrus tree disease that has no cure and has been found in residential trees in Southern California.
