(KMJ) – Police in Hanford continue to search for a pair of suspects wanted for shooting a 4-year old boy and his father outside a gas station.

Investigators say a 29-year old man and his family stopped for gas at a station near 12th Avenue and Hanford-Armona Road just before 2 a.m. Sunday while on their way home from a family birthday party.   But inside the station, investigators say he got into a confrontation with two men.   That fight continued outside of the business and ended with shots fired.

Hanford Police say the 29-year old was shot three times in the upper body and his 4-year old son was struck in the head.  But the child’s injury is not considered life-threatening.  They were both rushed to an area hospital.

Now investigators as anyone who recognizes this two suspects or their vehicle to call Hanford Police Detective Raymond Dias at (559) 585-2535.
