FRESNO (KMJ) – Police in Fresno are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver in a deadly hit-and-run.

It happened at six thirty in the evening, on August 5th, still broad daylight near North Angus and East Olive in Fresno.

77 year-old husband and father Jimmy Crosswhite was on his motorcycle, he was hit by a car or truck, its driver didn’t bother to stop.

Officers arrived to find Crosswhite suffering from several broken bones. He was rushed to the hospital, but Crosswhite died from his injuries.

“We have video evidence that shows a vehicle that may or may not be involved ,” Detective Robert Cegielski said.

That’s Fresno police detective Robert Cegielski. A grainy photo from a security cam is all police have to go on… for now.

“We’d like to speak to the driver of that vehicle so we can further the investigation, and answer some of the questions that we have,” Cegielski said.

The pickup they’re looking for is a dark gray or black 2016-2019 Toyota Tacoma Limited with roof rack rails and a bedcover.
