School Bus Driving Wrong Way Collides With Truck on Highway 99

 

FRESNO, CA (KMJ – A school bus driving the wrong way collided with a truck on Highway 99.

The California Highway Patrol says just before 11:00p.m. Thursday night, they responded by Highway 99 North and Ashlan Avenue.

Officers say a 55-year-old woman driving the bus was following another bus and entered the wrong way from the Golden State Boulevard off-ramp.

A 50-year-old woman who was driving a pick-up truck northbound on the highway struck the bus. She was treated on the scene for minor injuries.

The CHP says there were no students on the bus at the time.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and alcohol or drugs did not appear to be a factor.
