FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Refinery issues are being blame for a 14 cent weekly increase, in the average price for a gallon of fuel in the Golden State.
AAA says California’s now averaging $3.54 a gallon, following the temporary closure of the Valero refinery in Benicia.
Other issues were reported at a Phillips 66 refinery down in Carson.
Here in Fresno, several stations are still around $3.05 a gallon.
However, analysts say production issues could continue to push prices up.
