TULARE (KMJ) — Detectives have released the name of the teenager found dead near a Tulare County orchard. The discovery of Dynasty Alexander, with injuries to the upper body, prompted a murder investigation.

The call came in Sunday around 5.30pm. The 18-year-old was found just over the road from Elk Bayou Park, in the 19700 block of Hosfield Drive in Tulare.

“Anytime you find an 18-year-old dead, it’s unusual,” said the office’s Ashley Ritchie.

“Something was not right. Something happened that should not have happened. We’re treating this as a murder. Something went very wrong and we’re trying to find people or person responsible.”
