HANFORD, CA (KMJ) – A man who is already a registered sex offender was arrested for having hundreds of videos and photos of child pornography.
According to Hanford Police, in August their department got a Cyber Tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding a Google Account user that was in possession of child pornography.
During the investigation, police say it was determined that Ted Wooten was the user of the account and lived at 709 Kavanaugh Street.
Police searched the house and found multiple electronic devices inside, containing hundreds of videos and photos of child pornography.
Wooten was found at the house and arrested for having more than 600 images of child pornography.
Police say Wooten is a registered sex offender for a felony conviction in 2008 for a lewd or lascivious act with a child under 14 years of age.
