Coroner’s Office Releases Name of Woman Struck by a Car in Fresno on Thursday

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – The Coroner’s Office has released the name of the woman struck by a car in Fresno on Thursday night.

She is Altagracia Buenrostro, 51, of Fresno.

Lieutenant Jennifer Horsford says the woman was hit just after 7:00p.m. in a crosswalk at First and McKinley.

“We received a 911 call to respond to the area at First and McKinley to check the welfare of a female, unresponsive in the gutter,” said Lieutenant Horsford.

Buenrostro was rushed to CRMC in critical condition, and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

 

Investigators have surveillance video of the vehicle.
