Accused Clovis Child Predator Granted Felony Probation, No Additional Time Behind Bars

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – An accused Clovis child predator is granted felony probation on Friday with no additional time behind bars.

Hugo Rabson was accused of texting to arrange a meeting with a teenage girl at a Clovis park in March of 2017.

According to court documents in the messages, 42-year-old Rabson asked the 14-year-old girl to call him “Master” and “Sugar Daddy,” and for her to send him pictures and videos of herself.

He tried to leave the country three months later in June of 2017, but was stopped by Canadian Immigration Officers.

Rabson entered a plea to the sole allegation of PC 288.3 (contact or communication with a minor with intent to commit a sexual offense).

On Friday, September 28, 2018 The Fresno County District Attorney’s Office said Rabson will be sentenced on November 7th, 2018.

He will be sentenced to a grant of felony probation and will be required to register as a sex offender, but spend no time behind bars.
