FRESNO, CA (KMJ) — A woman is in stable condition after a brutal attack, allegedly by her boyfriend in Central Fresno.
On Thursday night around 11:00, Fresno County Sheriff’s Deputies were called out to New Horizon RV Park on the 3100 Block of Olive between Marks and Valentine.
Fresno County Sheriff’s Spokesperson Tony Botti says the deputies found a woman with a stab wound.
Botti says the couple had gotten into an argument, beforehand.
She had grabbed a knife to defend herself, when she put it down, he took it and stabbed her.
She was rushed to CRMC, where she was listed in stable condition.
Deputies arrested the victim’s boyfriend, 33-year-old Joshua Valencia.
He faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence.
