Fresno PD’s Patrol Car Hit, Other Vehicles Slammed-3 Women End Up In Jail

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) -A series of cars were struck Friday morning – including Fresno PD’s as two female theft suspects tried to make their getaway.

Fresno Police say it all started just before 9:00a.m., when Deloise Ford (above), and Cheyenne Carter, ran out of the Family Dollar Store on Blackstone with food and clothing, and drove off with police in hot pursuit.

Police say 24 year-old Ford ran a red light at Clinton, hit another car, hit their patrol car – then drove the wrong way on Blackstone. Another parked car was hit on Cornell before police say Ford jumped out… the car still rolling. 18 year old Carter was still inside as the car slammed into two more parked cars before stopping outside Ford’s home in the 1900 block of East Simpson.

 

As police were arresting the pair another woman came over and confronted officers. 26 year old Ariel White (above) was also placed in a patrol car – and started kicking the interior. she was placed in a paddy wagon and arrested for resisting arrest on $10,000 bail amount DUI Warrant.

Ford was arrested for: Felony Assault on a Peace Officer, Felony Evading a Peace Officer, Hit and Run (Multiple Counts), Theft, Resisting Arrest, Driving While Having a Suspended License, Petty Theft Warrant, and Felony Probation Violation as Ford is on probation for Robbery.

Carter (above) was arrested for Theft.

Ford and White were later booked at Fresno County Jail. Carter was cited out at FPD Headquarters.

Police say fortunately, there were no serious injuries involved in the incident.
