FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – A toddler is sent to the hospital in critical condition after a suspected honey oil fire on Friday in Springville.
The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office says three people were injured in the blaze that started around 5:00 a.m. and destroyed the home on Balch Park Road.
Once the fire was completely out, Tulare County Sheriff’s detectives wrote up a search warrant to go inside and search the property.
Detectives found butane canisters inside the home, which they say is consistent with a honey oil lab.
All three people were taken to CRMC; a 36-year-old male suspect was in critical condition, a 25-year-old pregnant woman was in fair condition, and a 15 month-old boy was in critical condition.
