FRESNO, CA. (KMJ) – The Selma Police Department and the Selma Unified School District is investigating an attempted abduction of a female student.
The school district sent out a notice to parents about the incident saying it happened Tuesday morning before school.
The notice stated a man approached a female student and tried to force the girl into his car.
The district says the student kicked and fought back and was able to escape.
The girl is safe but scared.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a beard and some silver teeth.
He was driving a brown four-door sedan, district officials say.
Selma Unified is asking anyone who may have seen the individual to contact the Selma Police Department.
