California Ag Business Seek Expanded Trade

The United States Department of Agriculture and even California farm businesses are in Central America this week to beef up farm trade.

That group includes a Reedley grower shipper.

More than 95% of U.S. agricultural exports enjoy duty free access to the region under a trade agreement and are worth more than two billion dollars annually.

The USDA says while the mission will be based in Guatemala, those taking part will also connect with importers from El Salvador and Honduras.
