CA Assembly Adjourned In Memory of Sanger’s Wilber Plaugher

 


FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Assemblyman Jim Patterson adjourned the assembly on Friday, January 12th in memory of Sanger resident Wilber Plaugher, who died on January 2nd.

Plaugher lived a colorful life, becoming a rancher, actor, rodeo clown and honoree of the PR Rodeo Hall of Fame, with a career that took him all around the world.

As an actor, he appeared on the Daniel Boone TV Show, and Bus Stop with Marilyn Monroe.

His longtime friend and country-western musician Jack Hannah called him “The Greatest Living Cowboy.”

He died at the age of 95 of natural causes.
