FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – A baby is born in the aisle of a Fresno meat market.
It happened at about 7:30 Tuesday night at the El Parian Neighborhood Market.
The birth captured on store surveillance cameras.
Employees tried calling 911, but nobody initially answered… and the baby wasn’t waiting.
Within just a couple of minutes the baby come out, with the butcher catching the newborn and cutting the cord.
Some fears when the baby came out purple – over the phone 911 dispatch told them to warm the baby up, and paramedics arrived.
Mother, Erica, and her child are now doing just fine.
