FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Around 200 people’s ATM card info has been stolen, in what Fresno Police think is an organized crime ring.
Sergeant Brian Rogers from Fresno PD’S financial crimes unit says the victims were robbed between Friday and Monday.
The suspect is believed to be working with a group out of Glendale in Southern California.
Police say avoid using older gas pumps that may not have chip card readers, and use your credit card instead of your debit card.
Sgt. Rogers said the man they’re looking for could be driving a black Chevy Impala with yellow plates and a white Chevy Equinox with “Allen Gwynn” dealership plates.
If you see the suspect vehicle, call Crime Stoppers at 559-498-STOP.
