GOBankingsRates: Calif. Among Worst States for Middle-Class Families

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The Golden State is the nation’s third worst, when it comes to living on a middle-class income.

That’s according to a new GOBankingRates report, which adds to the growing base of research, showing an increasing strain on families.

Astronomical housing prices and the overall high cost of living, make California only better than Hawaii and Massachusetts.

The states of Iowa, South Dakota, West Virginia, Nebraska, and North Dakota, are currently the 5 best states for middle-class families.
