500 Club Casino’s Restaurant-Bar To Reopen As Lawyers Fights Closure

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – The 500 Club Casino in Clovis is still fighting its closure will be reopening its bar and restaurant portion, early Tuesday morning.

Agents from the State of California’s Bureau of Gambling Control came in August 16th with an emergency order to temporarily shut down the business for inadequate financing on their chip liability.

General Manager Dusten Perry says they were not issued an advisory, before the raid, and have enough in accounts to cover chips.

Perry say the club’s lawyers are fighting the closure of the card room, and the possibility of losing its license.

The restaurant will reopen at 6:00 am Tuesday August 22nd, and will be open weekly from 6:00a.m.to 11:00p.m.

Perry hopes to have the casino open by the weekend.
