Fresno Sheriff’s Office Searches For Jewelry Store Robbery Suspect

 

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – The search is on for one of two men suspected of robbing a jewelry store in Caruthers.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office says on June 9th, two men with handguns entered the “Joyeria Krystal” jewelry store on the 2200 block of W. Tahoe Avenue.

They tied-up and held the female worker at gunpoint, taking jewelry and cash, and getting away in a black Mercedes, which was found later.

35 year-old Jorge Albert Aquino (above) was arrested, a search of his Fresno home on the 5400 block of West Indianapolis turned up a handgun, ammunition, cash and cocaine.

Aquino is currently being held in the Fresno County Jail on numerous charges, including robbery, possession of drugs by a felon and possession of guns by a felon. His bail is $628,000.

The other suspect, 34-year old Crescenciano Moreno (above) goes by the nickname of “Chris” and is known to hang out in Fresno and Reedley.

He is 5’9”, 200 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair.
