(KMJ) – Fresno County Sheriff’s Deputies are warning of a possible abductor in the Caruthers area after a woman has an encounter with a suspicious suspect.
This incident took place at Valley Food Market on the 2200 block of West Tahoe Avenue in
Caruthers on June 26th.
Deputies say the suspect was driving a silver 2014 or 2015 Nissan Sentra (pictured) and tried to lure the woman into the car by feigning he was stuck on a roll of barbed wire in the car’s back seat and needed her help to get free..
Instead, the woman went inside the market to get help and the man then took off.
The woman told deputies the man appeared to be Hispanic or East Indian. She said he was well-dressed and spoke clear English
