FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — According to a new Banfield Pet Hospital study, Americans aren’t the only ones with a weight problem.
Their pets are also struggling with obesity.
More than one-third of dogs and cats are overweight, which is up over the past decade by 158 percent and 169 percent, respectively.
Vets say the owners of such animals also spend 36 percent more, compared to those with a healthy weight.
