Poll: Health Costs Top Money Concerns of Americans

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The cost of health insurance is the largest financial concern in America, according to a new Gallup poll.

17 percent say medical care is their primary worry, which although below the all-time high of 19 percent a decade ago, is up 7 percentage points from 2013.

The poll, which comes amid uncertainty in Congress over a plan to replace the Affordable Care Act, also displays concerns about high debt, and the growing cost of higher education.

However, stress over wages appears to be easing.
