Link Discovered Between Living Near an Airport and Blood Pressure

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Living near an airport could lead to higher blood pressure levels.

That’s according to researchers in Greece and England, who say loud noise from planes can negatively affect a person’s health.

Long-term exposure at night and early in the morning appears to have the largest impact.

The study is the latest to find a link between environmental noise and poorer health.
