FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Fewer than a quarter of Americans use the total number of vacation days available to them.
According to a new Glassdoor.com survey,l two out of three use a portion of their time off, and one in eleven use nothing.
However, experts say that’s likely having a negative impact on health.
Those who overwork are more likely to be stressed, suffer from anxiety, and have relationship issues.
Recent data shows that guilt is the biggest factor in avoiding vacation, as some fear taking time off could limit career progress, or be seen as a lack of dedication.
Millennial women are said to take the least amount of vacation time, and often feel most guilty.
