FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Companies seeking to hire millennials are increasingly offering student loan assistance.
According to a new Challenger, Gray & Christmas survey, more than 70 percent of employers say helping employees with educational debts, is playing a greater role in attracting younger talent.
Student loans account for the second highest consumer burden in the nation, totaling $1.3 trillion dollars.
Industries such as tech and finance will likely expand assistance opportunities, given the continuing labor shortages.
