More Disagreement Between State and Feds on Health Insurance

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Covered California is claiming that health insurance premiums could skyrocket next year, if the Trump Administration and Republican majority Congress rollback the Affordable Care Act.

The state exchange believes they could rise by as much as 49 percent, and thousands of Californians could lose coverage.

State markets across the nation have been dealing with higher than anticipated rates, along with a lack of demand among younger, healthier individuals.

However, repealing and replacing the law has been a struggle for Republicans, who’re having a hard time getting enough votes.
