Study: Italian Coffee May Help Men Reduce Their Cancer Risk

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — American men who drink at least three cups of coffee a day prepared in the Italian fashion, may be able to cut their risk of prostate cancer.

Government researchers say coffee made with high pressure, extremely hot water, and no filter, can help cut their risk in half.

It appears that the lack of a filter results in fewer bioactive compounds being lost, which are believed to help in preventing cancer.

The study’s published in the International Journal of Cancer.
