Tesla Accused of Suppressing Unionization Effort

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — A group of employees at the Tesla factory in Fremont allege that the electric auto giant is illegally suppressing their efforts to unionize.

Those workers are complaining to the National Labor Relations Board about excessive mandatory overtime and on-the-job injuries.

Telsa has also received criticism for its confidentiality requirement, which some say prevents them from discussing their work conditions.

The company has been caught in a half-dozen other cases with the NLRB, all of which have been dismissed or withdrawn.
