CA Auditor Questions CSU System’s Hiring Practices

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The latest report from California State Auditor Elaine Howle’s office says the California State University system hires new managers at a rate more than double other employers.

it accuses the system of failing to adequately detail the number of added personnel, which include supervisors, vice presidents, deans, and head coaches.

Howle is also questioning the salary increases they were given; she’s calling for increased monitoring of compensation.
