FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — More than one-third of U.S. adults now hold at least a bachelor’s degree.
According to the Current Population Survey, that’s that the largest figure, since the government began taking note in 1940.
Back then, fewer than 5 percent of Americans had attained that level of education.
On average, those with a bachelor’s degree earn almost $30,000 more per year, than those with only a high school diploma.
