FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Fresno CityFest kicks off with a luncheon held on Thursday at the Save Mart Center,
“It’s a party for the city, so everyone is welcome.” – Andrew Palau, Host & Evangelical Speaker.
Churches from all over the Valley are taking part in the Fresno CityFest with speakers Luis Palau (photo above right), and his son Andrew who says it’s not just for believers:
“Only for believers? No. Maybe you have some things you’ve been interested in spiritually seeking, you have questions or you wonder what do all these churches think and believe and what does the bible say… Well, we’re hoping to answer some of those really foundational questions.”-Andrew Palau.
Chelsea Miller, the publicity director of the event is expecting a large turnout.
“We would not be surprised by about 25,000 people over the course of the two day event and we have high hopes for a great audience.” -Chelsea Miller, PR & Communications, CityFest.
“277 churches is the latest number, they keep coming onboard everyday – we’re going to have a children’s area, bouncy castles and Bob and Larry, the big cucumber and tomato from Veggies Tales will be down there, and a lot of activities and crafts for the kids.” -Andrew Palau (photo above).
Grammy-award-winning artist Lecrae, and Grammy winners For King and Country will perform.
Fresno CityFest is being held on the grounds of the Save Mart Center on April 1-2, 2017, It’s free, and family-friendly.
