FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Two men and a woman are in the hospital after a single-vehicle accident in northwest Fresno. The car – a blue El Camino with moving boxes on the back – veered off the roadway, up onto the embankment and then crashed into the wall of the railroad overpass on eastbound Shaw Avenue between Marks and Van Ness.
Fresno Police Lieutenant Joe Gomez says it’s unknown what caused the crash. It’s too early to tell if drugs or alcohol were a factor. Because of the accident, eastbound Shaw between Marks and Van Ness was closed Monday afternoon.
