Trump’s Approval Rating for First Month Lowest in Over 6 Decades

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The Trump presidency has received the lowest approval rating during the first month, in more than 6 decades.

The latest Gallup poll shows 40 percent of Americans approved of the president’s job performance, which was 21 percent below the historical average.

President Clinton previously held the low, at 51 percent during his first month.

President Reagan was the only other commander-in-chief to be below 60 percent.

Gallup attributes President Trump’s low rating to mass controversy, surrounding his recent executive orders.
