Tips for Companies Seeking to Attract Millennial Employees

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — In an increasingly tighter labor market, millennails are accounting for larger shares of the potential employees.

However, according to a new Challenger, Gray, and Christmas report, using traditional recruitment techniques, can make it difficult to attract new and younger workers.

Experts say in addition to compensation and health benefits, many millennials are seeking a work-life balance.

A recent Gallup poll found that 87 percent of millennials believe that job development and career growth is very important, but only 29 percent feel that they are engaged at work.

Companies, according to researchers need to focus on effective management, making their mission clear, offer advancement opportunities, and creating a positive culture.
