Sexual Assault Charges Filed Against Former Fresno State Mascot

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – A former Fresno State “Time Out” mascot has been officially charged for a series of sexual gropings last year near the campus.

The Fresno county District Attorney announces that Deandre JeanPierre has been charged with five misdemeanor counts of sexual battery against five different victims over the course of three months.  His arraignment is set for February 28th.

If convicted, JeanPierre faces local jail time and will be required to register as a sex offender.
