(KMJ) Trial has been set for an Oakhurst man accused of a brutal murder.
Madera County prosecutors say George Taylor-Windsor went on a violent rampage while riding in a pickup truck traveling down Hwy 41 in November.
The District Attorney says the 26 year old stabbed 23 year old Jessica Nelson to death and left the driver for dead after stabbing him several times.
The motive is unknown, however the suspect’s attorney is claiming self defense.
During the preliminary hearing, the driver, Reid Kallenberg, admitted to using drugs before the group began a drive to Chukchansi Gold Casino & Resort.
Trial is set to begin Feb. 6 at the newly renovated Bass Lake courthouse. Taylor-Windsor has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
