Oakland Mayor: “Framework Deal” Made to Keep Raiders

(KMJ)  Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf announced Tuesday that her office has reached a “framework deal” to keep the franchise in the bay area.
An investment group led by former Raider and Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott is reportedly putting together a package worth more than $167-million that would go toward buying the Oakland Coliseum and Oracle Arena.
Schaaf will present the deal to the Oakland County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday in a closed-door session.
Raiders owner Mark Davis, who wants to move the silver & black to Las Vegas, is not commenting on the new development.
Davis and the Raiders have a plan in place for a new $2 billion stadium to be built in Vegas.
As for the team itself, the Raiders beat Houston Monday night in Mexico City 27-20.  Former Fresno State Bulldog Derek Carr tossed 3 touchdowns in the win
