FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Energy efficiency has become a strong marketing point, when it comes to selling real estate here in Fresno.
Zillow.com reports the city ranks 3rd on its list of 100 cities, for the percentage of home listings with terms like “solar panel” and “wind power.”
About 14 percent of Fresno homes are in that category; San Jose claims the most, with 24 percent.
Zillow says with climate change and utility costs being top-of-mind in California energy-efficient technology often makes sense for homeowners and buyers.
