Gibson Farm Market Hosting Fall Festival

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – The Gibson Farm Market that sells products made by the Fresno State agricultural department, is hosting a fall festival on Saturday, October 22nd from 8am – 4pm.

The festival is a good way to sample the Fresno State wine, produce, tri-tip sandwiches (made with the tri-tip raised from the cattle at Fresno State), and new products like pumpkin pie almonds.

One of the student managers, Miles Robinson, says the festival is also a great way to learn about the products made at the university.

“[The festival] really allows families to come in and see what goes on behind the scenes,” said Robinson. “Instead of just coming into the Gibson Farm Market and picking out a product or two, they’re able to come in and kind of get to talk to the people that make the product, raise the animals. It’s just a great way to see what really goes on.”

There will also be family activities, like a pumpkin patch.
