FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – A victim who was allegedly shot by her husband on Wednesday is still in the hospital. Fresno Police say an emergency c-section was performed on the victim – who was 7 months pregnant – after she was shot in the stomach. The baby is in good health.
The victim’s husband, 32-year-old Manuel Servin, had to be taken into custody after a long SWAT standoff where he fired several shots. Servin has been booked on multiple attempted murder and child endangerment charges. Additional charges could be added.
