FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — A campaign seeking to overturn a half-dozen major California gun control laws approved earlier this year, has failed to collect enough signatures to get its initiative on the November ballot.
According to the Secretary of State’s office, Veto Gunmageddon only collected 166,000 signatures, which is less than half of what they needed.
Some of the controversial measures it sought to defeat ban sales of semi-automatic rifles with so-called bullet buttons, outlaw high-capacity magazines, and require background checks for ammo sales.
