FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — For years, adults have been advised to drink 8 glasses of water per day.
However, new research published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, shows that may not be necessary.
Experts say everybody’s water intake needs are different, and just drinking water when you feel thirsty is likely sufficient.
Drinking too much water can be harmful, and in extreme cases, even fatal.
