FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – The 20 Fresno PG&E workers who were supposed to head to Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew have had their trip canceled.
Florida Power and Light (FPL) canceled their mutual aid request – meaning that the workers were no longer needed.
The storm stayed far enough from the coast to lessen the damage enough that FPL could handle the response itself.
But if conditions change, the PG&E workers are ready to go if needed.
