FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – The Fresno Police Department SWAT team served search warrants at nine different locations on Thursday which resulted in the arrest of five “Flyboy” gang members and the confiscation of three firearms and ammunition.
Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer says these gang members operated out of southwest Fresno, but did most of their crime in northeast and northwest Fresno. They have been allegedly involved in shootouts with rival gangs in broad daylight, sometimes near schools. In one such incident, a 4-year-old boy was hit in the neck with a bullet – but survived.
Those arrested are on Thursday are:
Deandre Steele, 21 years old
Marquise Moore, 21 years old
Elias Muhammed, 19 years old
Jeremiah Davis, 30 years old
15 YEAR OLD JUVENILE GANG MEMBER
A 16-year-old juvenile gang member that was wanted was arrested on Friday. Fresno police are still searching for four other gang members. Their names are:
Bryan Lovelace, 18 years old/Arrest warrant for his involvement in a shooting
Donald Steele, 20 years old/Arrest warrant for firearm possession
Marquise Dotson, 20 years old/Prohibited person in possession of ammunition
Melvin Franklin, 21 years old/Probation warrant
